Perry "Lance" Jackson

Lance Jackson, a dedicated first-generation farmer from Bonifay, Florida, proudly represents his state as a National Peanut Board member. As the owner and operator of Jackson Farms, Jackson cultivates peanuts (primarily the O6G variety) alongside cotton and Angus cattle. His farming journey began in 2001, fulfilling a lifelong dream of working the land and building a sustainable agricultural business from the ground up.
A graduate of Holmes County High School, Jackson furthered his education at Chipola College in Marianna, Florida. His passion for farming extends beyond his fields, as he actively serves on several agricultural boards, including the Holmes County Farm Bureau Board, Holmes County Soil and Water Board, and the Florida Cotton Growers Association Board. He also contributes as an alternate for the National Cotton Council, advocating for farmers and the future of the industry.
Jackson’s success is a testament to hard work and teamwork, with his wife, Briana, standing by his side in making key business decisions and expanding their operation. Together, they are raising their three-year-old son, Dallas, instilling in him the values of dedication and perseverance.
For Jackson, serving on the National Peanut Board is an exciting opportunity to promote the peanut industry on a national scale. He is passionate about educating consumers on the nutritional benefits of peanuts and their essential role in everyday life. As a committed advocate for agriculture, Jackson looks forward to helping shape the future of peanut farming and ensuring its continued success for generations to come.
