July 2, 2024 – ATLANTA – The National Peanut Board (NPB) will set strategic direction for the FY-25 program of work and budget at its quarterly board meeting July 16 - 17, 2024. The meeting will take place at Andaz Savannah located at 14 Barnard Street, Savannah, Georgia 31401. This is the first meeting since 93.23% of voting farmers said “yes” to continuing NPB’s research, marketing and promotion program in the referendum.
The Board begins the planning process each year by assessing consumer attitudes and market conditions and setting the program of work to align with strategic objectives to advance its mission of improving the economic condition of U.S. peanut farmers and their families through compelling promotion and groundbreaking research.
The National Peanut Board’s FY-25 begins Nov. 1, 2024 and ends Oct. 31, 2025.
