August 7, 2025 – ATLANTA – The Oklahoma Peanut Commission will hold an urgent nomination meeting to fill one open nominee position for the National Peanut Board. This one position will complete the Oklahoma nomination packet for 2025.
Members and alternates are nominated by producers or producer groups within their respective states. The meeting will be held by Zoom on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at 6:00PM CDT.
All eligible producers are encouraged to participate. Eligible producers are those who are engaged in the production and sale of peanuts and who own or share the ownership and risk of loss of the crop.

The 12-member board includes 11 members and their alternates representing the primary peanut-producing states and one at-large member and alternate who represent the minor peanut-producing states.
