Chai Spiced Peanut Butter Cookies
Ingredients
Chai Spice
1 teaspoon cardamom pods
1 teaspoon whole black pepper
1 teaspoon cloves
Use a spice or coffee grinder to make a fine powder. Set aside.
1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons chai spice
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Combine the dry ingredients and beat together the wet ingredients, and then beat to combine the two. Scoop the cookie dough with a large sized cookie scoop and place them on a cookie sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 350.
